CALL
FOR VOLUNTEER COLLECTORS!!!!!
We
Need You!
When: Friday, 20th June 2008
Where: State Wide
1 in 50 Australians
have Epilepsy and it affects more people than cerebral
palsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, muscular
dystrophy and blindness….combined.
After the
headache, Epilepsy is the second most common condition
to affect the brain and over 3.5 Million people worldwide
develop it every year.
Our State-wide Annual Badge Day, 20th June 2008 will
enable us to raise funds to talk to the community
about epilepsy.
The Epilepsy Centre is committed to supporting people
in the community who have epilepsy, as well as their
families, friends, teachers and employers. We do this
through skilled counselling and specialised training
programs.
We call for Volunteer collectors in the city.
Anyone
who can assist us by collecting in Rundle Mall for
an hour or two can call The Epilepsy Centre on 8448
5600 or 1300 852 853
The funds raised through this Appeal will allow us to
continue to provide advocacy, counselling, education,
support groups, retreats and camps to people with epilepsy
and their families.
People can also support our Appeal by leaving a donation
at the following locations: ANZ Bank, Bakers
Delight, Billy Baxters, Copyfax, Supercuts, or various
locations throughout South Australia.
