Gathering and Use of Personal Information
In general, you can visit Epilepsy Association of SA and the NT Inc on
the Internet without telling us who you are and without giving
any personal information about yourself. There are times,
however, when we may need information from you.

may choose to give us personal information in a variety of
situations. For example, you may want to give us information,
such as your name, phone number, postal address and e-mail
address, to correspond with you, or to provide you with a
subscription. We intend to let you know how we will use such
information before we collect it from you. If you give us
personal information about somebody else, such as a spouse
or work colleague, we will assume that you have their permission
to do so.

Refund Policy
Epilepsy Association of South Australia and the Northern Territory Inc.
(The Epilepsy Centre) is keen to ensure members of the community receive a refund when an error or fault has been made by The Epilepsy Centre.
If an error is made in the amount of any donation to The Epilepsy Centre, or the purchase of goods, an event booking or a lottery ticket purchase, the donor/ purchaser must contact the Society within 30 days of making the donation/purchase. The request for a refund must be made in writing and can be sent to The Epilepsy Centre by:

To be included in the written notification, we require:
1. The details of the purchase or donation
2. The details of the error
3. The date of the purchase or donation
4. The amount of the donation or purchase
5. The name of the person who made the donation or purchase
The Epilepsy Centre is under no obligation to refund the purchase of a lottery ticket, if you have simply changed your mind, or if it was not a winning ticket. The Epilepsy Centre will refund a lottery ticket if there
was a genuine processing error or the ticket number was not included in the lottery draw. The Epilepsy Centre is under no obligation to refund the purchasing of goods and/or event tickets, if you have simply changed your mind or are unable to attend, however The Epilepsy Centre will provide a refund or exchange if the goods are faulty, or in the case of an event if it is postponed or cancelled.
The Epilepsy Centre reserves the right to deduct from any refund all bank and transaction charges as a result of The Epilepsy Centre processing the refund, if the error was not made by The Epilepsy Centre. The Epilepsy Centre will not deduct any charges if the error was made by The Epilepsy Centre.
If an error is made in the amount of any donation, and/or purchase to The Epilepsy Centre that is made by The Epilepsy Centre, or its financial institution(s), a full refund will be made by The Epilepsy Centre upon notification of the error.
The Epilepsy Centre will not consider any requests for refunds that are received by The Epilepsy Centre after 30 days from the donation and/or purchase.

no event will Epilepsy Association of SA and the NT Inc be liable to
any party for any direct, indirect, special or other consequential
damages for any use of this Web site, or on any other linked
